The Research On The Spatial Syntax Of The Typical Traditional Village Based On Terrain Features In Shandong

With the transformation of the traditional culture of the country,and the focus on the traditional culture and the rural construction in China,the traditional village has been the focus of the current History,Human Geography,Architecture and other disciplines.As the material carrier of the history and the reality,there are the missions of inheriting the cultural characteristics,constructing the beautiful living environment,creating the economic income and so on in traditional villages.In this paper,with the spatial distribution of traditional villages and the mechanism quantitative research on streets and lanes as the core,it is very significant to deal with the various problems and contradictions in the protection and development of traditional villages.Some achievements have been made in the researches and protection of traditional villages in recent years.However,these researches focus on the empirical analysis,description,induction and interpretation on the village space.It is difficult to obtain scientific and quantitative results and deterministic rules with the lack of the foundation and premise of the spatial and quantitative research.In the paper,with the Spatial Syntax Theory and software,the spatial form of traditional villages in Shandong was quantitatively analyzed and studied.The usage of spatial syntax provides a new perspective for the research on the spatial form of traditional villages.With the space itself as the core,the relation between the spatial structural parameters and the practical problems was analyzed.The relation between the village space and people's behavior activities was studied.The deeper social cultural structural features in the traditional village spatial structure were interpreted.Through the comparison and conclusion of mathematical models,the protection and development strategies of traditional villages were scientifically and systematically put forward.This paper was divided into the following sections:First,the current situation of the domestic and foreign relevant research was summarized.Also,the research content,research purpose,research method were clarified;the core of the Spatial Syntax Theory and research method were summarized as well as the applicability between spatial syntax and traditional village spatial elements.Secondly,the typical traditional village in Shandong was selected as the research object,the quantitative analysis was conducted with Spatial Syntax Theory and software.Also,through graph,the result of the analysis was presented intuitively.Combining the actual problem in villages,the parameters were analyzed quantitatively.Finally,through the comparative analysis of the spatial structural characteristics of the three villages,the similarities and differences of the spatial form were summed up.According to the previous research,the principles and strategies of the protection and development of traditional village space were summarized.
