Research On The Construction Of Spatial Order Of Traditional Villages In Northeast China Based On Spatial Syntax

With the emphasis placed on the protection of traditional history and culture by the government and policy incline to the development of the rural economy and the protection of inherited traditional culture,strengthening the protection planning of local culture has become the development trend in the urban-rural planning field.Northeast China is a region developed during the mutual integration and impact of nomadic culture and farming culture.Therefore,the traditional villages in the Northeast China have formed unique spatial layout characteristics.At present,studies on the spatial quantification of the traditional villages in Northeast China are still blank.As such,it is very necessary to study the application of spatial syntactic theory to analyze,in a quantitative way,the traditional village spaces and conversion.Based on the traditional culture of ethnic groups in Northeast China,this thesis fully explores the regional characteristics of the traditional villages.This thesis conducts research on the spatial order of villages from the perspective of space reconstruction of traditional villages to thoroughly analyze the spatial variation features of traditional villages.This thesis firstly analyzes the traditional village culture and spatial layout in Northeast China through the quantitative analysis on spatial syntax.Moreover,the thesis reviews the village formation process and conducts visualized analyses on the impact factors of spatial development.Afterwards,it categorizes 19 traditional villages according to the typological theory and the inherent spatial layout features of traditional villages and carries out quantitative analysis and comparison of present village spaces.Finally,this thesis summarizes existing spatial questions.This thesis conducts research on several typical villages such as Funingtun village and constructs the spatial order of each type of traditional villages and then quantitatively compares and analyzes the data.As a result,the author proposes corresponding optimization strategies for spatial orders of traditional villages in Northeast China in terms of spatial layout,spatial structure,and space reorganization.As the spatial syntax has a great advantage in the quantitative analysis and research of village space,compared with traditional methods.In order to make innovations on the quantitative research on traditional village spaces,this thesis introduces the spatial syntax into the study of the spatial order reconstruction in traditional villages is great significance.However,the research on the spatial order of traditional villages in Northeast China still needs improvements.It is hoped that these deficiencies will be supplemented in the follow-up research on the quantitative analyses of traditional village spaces.
