In modern society,the rapid development of science and technology contributions to the constant improvement of people and at the same time,results in the higher requirement in their living environment.The entrance to a residential quarter,as the face of the residential quarter,plays an important part,for the people living here will pass it before they go in or out.Thus the landscape design of the entrance will certainly be much valued.Before writing the paper,the writer first look up plenty of data about the entrance landscape design and had a better understanding of the concept related to the entrance landscape as well as the aim and value of the research.While writing the paper,the writer first studied the entrance landscape of Beijing residential quarters.Based on a lot of investigation and research on Beijing different residential quarters of different districts,the writer has analyzed them and sumarized the elements of the entrance landscape of Beijing residential quarters,the features of different elements and their use in entrance landscape design;Besides,the writer has also done some research on the types and functions of the entrance landscape of Beijing residential quarters.By doing research on the entrance landscape of Beijing different residential quarters,the writer has a good understanding of different requirements of different people in the entrance landscape and has got some basic principles,designing ideas and ways of the entrance landscape designing of residential quarters.In the end,by studying some true cases of the entrance landscape of Beijing residential quarters,the writer has also sumarized some problems of the entrance landscape designs of Beijing residential quarters and forecasted the design trendency as well as the future development.
