The application of image acquisition in the flight experiment for guided weapons becomes more and more widely.For the measurement requirements of a certain type of missile,a digital image acquisition system carried on the missile was designed.In order to monitor the flight state of the missile with external environment,the system has many functions like data collection,data storage and data readout.In this paper,the course of the recorder carried on missile was firstly reviewed incorporation with the status survey for the image processing technology.According to the project requirements and the design principle,two parts include both the hardware and the logic were introduced and analyzed in detail.The design objective is to realize the function of digital image acquisition,and finish the design of each module.The hardware of the image acquisition system includes four parts,such as image acquisition module,control module,storage module and communication module.The data transmission of the industrial camera was realized through the Camera Link interface,the FPGA was selected as the core controller,the NAND FLASH was selected as the memory and the Gigabit Ethernet interface was used as data readout.The functional modules of the circuit was designed and verified according to the device datasheet.The idea of top-to-down was adopted in the logic design,and the main function includes the jitter eliminating for important signals,the decoding for differential image signal,the selecting and caching for valid image data,the management for invalid block of the NAND FLASH and the operation of read or write or erasing,and the driver protocol for the Gigabit Ethernet communication interface.The function of image acquisition and the data readout were performed.The validity and the reliability of the system have been tested on the ground simulation platform.The results indicate that the system can guarantee the accuracy of the image acquisition and the credibility of the data readout,and the system can operate steadily which meets the expected requirements.
