With the rapid development of our country’s social economy,the development of civil aviation is also flourishing.While the number of flights and passengers in the large aeronautic hub are continually refresh the record,it also brought severe test to the flight support capability.The airport gate is the place where aircraft stop on the ground and is the prerequisite for ground normal operation.The reasonable of gate assignment is an important reflection of the overall support capability of the airport,which guarantees the work smoothly and efficiently.Therefore,a further study of the gate assignment reasonably has a vital role in the development of the airport and even in the whole civil aviation industry.In the process of writing this paper,a large number of literature about the gate assignment have been studied.On top of this,the current researches about the gate assignment no matter domestic and overseas are summarized in this article.After taking the process of the gate assignment and the types of flights involved as well as the airlines operating costs into consideration,this article picks up the gate reassignment as the basis of research,which is much harder in the actual assignment.Choose all the transit flight,especially those delayed as the research objects,reassign the gate which is pre-assigned to the delayed flight,to realize the best gate reassignment goal.This article uses the expected delay time of transit flight and pre-assigned gate as the data foundation.Establish a primary improved optimization model based on the double goals which cut the delay time costs and reduce the cost of distance brings by the adjustment of the gate position.Then use the method of linear weighted turn the double goals into single target,thereafter establish this model which choose the minimum total delay costs as the objective function and design a primary improved genetic algorithm to solve the model.In the simulation of the instance at the last part of the article,compares the outcome of the primary and improved genetic algorithm with the results calculated by the gate reassignment scheme which is used in the actual operation.It shows that in the program results could find a better solution than the actual practice.This method provides some theory reference and support for the airlines aiming at reducing the economic costs produced by the flight delay,at the same time ensure the related works carried out orderly and efficiently.
