Study On The Spatial Characteristics Of Villages In Yueqing

Villages are developed from primitive colonies.The formation of village space is affected by the surrounding geographical environment and historical conditions and other external factors.The village space is the main activity place,people's daily life,communication and working happen in these palces,these activities affect people on the shaping of village space,so,it often formed with regional characteristics.However,with the development of economy and the advancement of urbanization in our country,the characteristics of the village space are often neglected in the construction.People gradually realize that the spatial characteristics of the village need us to shape and inherit.Launched in Zhejiang Province," Planning for the beautiful countryside " and "Village design guidelines",it can be seen from these policies that the importantce in the maintenance of space form and space sequence attention.Yueqing is also actively implement the "beautiful countryside construction" in the process of the introduction of the "Yueqing city overall planning" the construction of the beautiful countryside.Yueqing is a multi terrain county city,in the northwest of the city is a mountainous area,in the middle of the city is hilly areas,in the southeast is coastal areas,the plains are very sparse.The development of regional economic is inbalanced,towns in the southern are developed,they often have their own industries,so the development is faster,due to the impact of economic and traffic conditions,the development of villages in the north is slow,some even die slowly.In the central region is mostly hilly and plain water network,the village relies on the characteristics of the industry,but also to varying degrees of development.On the whole,the villages in Yueqing have rich characteristics of village space under the influence of economy,terrain and resources.Under the above background,the author participated in project--"The research on the improvement of rural living environmen”and its sub project "Investigation of rural housing construction and usage" conducted by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development.By this chance the author started a field research in Yueqing villages,in the specific principles determine the sample selection,the author selected research in a sample of thirty villages in the village home,in the village of in-depth conversation samples of villagers and village relevant content about village space.In the meantime,first carries on to the village as a whole space from external to internal research level;secondly the village public space to conduct in-depth research,including the entrance spaces,street spaces,village village public centers;finally the classification research of the residential buildings in the village was conducted.Based on the research of the field,this paper provides a basic technical support for the future study of the spatial characteristics of the villages and the countermeasures.
