Research On The Spatial Form Of Traditional Villages Based On Space Syntax

As the carrier of regional culture,the traditional village spatial form plays an important role in protecting traditional villages and inheriting historical context.In recent years,the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy has brought new opportunities for the protection and renewal of traditional village spatial forms.Luotian Village in Anyi County of Jiangxi Province is one of the first batch of traditional villages in China,and it is a model of the combination of clan blood management and Lijia management structure.The village streets and lanes are simple,exquisite architecture and strong humanistic atmosphere,with certain historical value and cultural value,the protection and renewal of its spatial form is imminent.The thesis takes Luotian Village in Anyi County of Jiangxi Province as the research object,based on the qualitative analysis,using space syntax theory and Depthmap software platform to quantify the spatial form of Luotian Village from three aspects: street and lane space,public space and traditional residential space,explores the relationship between the spatial form of the village and crowd activities,and summarizes the quantitative characteristics of the spatial form of Luotian Village.Based on the qualitative and quantitative analysis,aiming at the current situation of Luotian Village’s spatial form,this paper puts forward the protection and renewal strategies based on space syntax to continue the spatial characteristics and inherit the regional culture.The thesis mainly draws the following conclusions:(1)Street and lane space.Through the syntactic analysis of the street and lane space,it is concluded that the back street has good publicity,accessibility and permeability;the cross street has moderate publicity and accessibility,but its permeability is weak;although the front street is an ancient commercial road,but it is not dominant in the analysis results;the intelligibility of the street and lane space is relatively high,and the overall spatial layout can be understood through the form of local space.(2)Public space.Through the syntactic analysis of public space,it is concluded that the publicity,accessibility and permeability of Ximentou Square are not as good as those of Lotus Pond Square and Shidafu Front Square;the results of the syntactic analysis of Xianghuotang space and square space are basically the same,and they have strong control ability at the junction of surrounding streets and lanes;when the intersection of streets and lanes is enlarged,it is easy to form the concentration of people flow,making it a public node space for activity communication.(3)Traditional residential space.Through the syntactic analysis of the traditional residential space,it is concluded that the hall space is the core of the traditional residential space,and the space on the central axis is obviously more public,accessible and permeable than the space on both sides.(4)Protection and renewal strategy.Aiming at the main problems of Luotian Village’s spatial form,the specific protection and renewal strategies are as follows:through the improvement and adjustment of the street and lane system,the key construction of the village space core,to optimize the street and lane spatial form;through the improvement of space scale,increase landscape greening and so on,to stimulate the vitality of the square space;through the space renewal and the injection of new functions,to improve the utilization rate of the Xianghuotang space;through appropriate local widening and improvement of the environmental quality,to restore the social communication activities of the street and lane intersection space;through maintenance and repair,internal function renewal and so on,to protect the traditional residential space.
