With the continuous development of civil aviation, air traffic demand increase steadily, and the problems of air traffic congestion, traffic control and flight delays are becoming increasingly serious. The pressure of increasing traffic can be relieved preferably by the application of multi-runway.In the future, the parallel runway and intersecting runway will become the main runway configuration of multi-runway airport in China. However, compared with Europe and the United States, although China has so many multi-runway airports under construction, the technology of multi-runway operation is relatively conservative, and the operation efficiency is generally low. These caused great influence and restriction on operation to a certain extent, and limited the increase in the capacity of multi runway airports. Therefore,in order to meet the increasing air traffic, reduce the pressure of air traffic and flight delays, expediting the research of multi-runway airport operation is of great significance. This paper put forward the safety analysis of multi-runway airport operation with intersecting runway, based on Chengdu Tianfu International Airport.Analyze and summarize the rules and regulations of multi-runway airport, and study on multi-runway operation of Tianfu Airport preliminarily. And applied the above research contents, different operation modes of Chengdu new airport runway in the wake of interval, running interval, made a preliminary study. Then based on the Reich model, established a collision risk model discussed the probability of collision risk under different operating models. On this basis, this paper probed into the method of the safe operation of multi-runway airport in China, and provided theoretical support for the construction and safe operation of multi-runway airports.
