The responsibility of grid corporation is supplying safety,high quality,economic power,in recent years,because of rapid development of grid,Users demand higher requirement on power quality,the voltage quality is an important factor,it must be real-time monitored to improving the quality of electricity,controlling reactive power of grid has decisive effect on improving the quality of electricity,grid corporation inboard mainly use AVC system to control reactive power of grid,to improve supply voltage and quality of grid.In this paper,according to collect the running operation date and the date of capacitors switching and troubleshooting of Shizuishan grid,we found that some capacity of capacitors is inappropriate in some substations.execution efficiency of AVC system is low,threshold value and voltage division is not suitable.in this paper give following optimizing strategies,suggest it should use combination of large,medium and small capacitors in beginning designation of substation.optimize strategy of AVC system to upgrade the efficiency of strategy execution,reduce the execution time.refine threshold value,reduce queuing phenomenon in strategy execution.Adjust voltage threshold of substation busbar.Call PAS model to realize automatic partitioning.research and development automatic identification equipment,high voltage laboratory aotumatic blocking increases to a mesh of 100%.According to the implementation of the above strategies,times of capacitor switching has been reduced greatly,number of manual intervention and workload scheduling staff has decreased drastically.equipment life of capacitors has been improved,it ensures the safety of staff in high voltage laboratory.It enhances the system flexibility of AVC and control the reactive power of grid,and has practical significance to reduce transmission losses,and alse enhances economic benefits of grid coportation.
