In our country,the EPC pattern in power engineering sphere has been underpinning the construction for the current stage and propelling its development in the long run.The pattern facilitates an orderly and collaborative operation among each and every process of the construction,which hence introduces optimized investment,time-saving arrangement,high efficiency and quality.As the main contractor of the EPC project,the Electric Power Design Institute utilizes design as the leading role to optimize the design scheme from the origin,thus further maximizes the benefits for all participants and constructors of the project.Yet de facto,project management is fraught with scads of risks and complications.As is awaiting further study and prompt solution,how to portray a comprehensive set of project risk management system in accordance with the specific risk features of leading EPC power engineering projects has long been confronting and baffling many of our national projects.This thesis shall begin with a theoretical analysis on power engineering EPC pattern,including introduction of the concepts,verification of its definition and boundary,as well as the basic ideas of risk management for power engineering projects.Meanwhile this thesis shall compare the EPC pattern with traditional power engineering project risk management pattern and conclude EPC's advantages.The comparison unveils the specific risks burdening on the Electric Power Design Institute as the main EPC contractor in power engineering construction.Secondly,a set of risk management process for EPC general contracting of power engineering is established for the characteristics of risk of electric power engineering EPC project with design as its leading role.Based on the risk identification,the risk of EPC in power engineering is analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively.According to the analysis results,the corresponding countermeasures have been proposed.Finally,taking YaDong 220 kV transmission and transformation project as example,this thesis analyzes The Risk Management of Electric Power Engineering EPC Project with Design as its Leading Role.Based on the risk identification and the establishment of risk factors for this project,the risk probability influence method,the expert scoring method and the RPN risk value method are used to qualitatively and quantitatively analyze the project respectively.According to the calculation results,the main risk factors of the project are obtained,and the corresponding risk countermeasures have been proposed.It is a good way to validate the validity of the previous risk management method.Through the research of this thesis,the author tries to establish a comprehensive risk management system of electric power engineering EPC project,which can effectively promote the realization of risk management objectives.It is also expected to provide valuable assistance to the future risk management of the Electric Power Design Institute in the future electric power engineering project.
