With the rapid development of national economic construction,the application of dangerous goods have entered petrochemical industry,national defense science and technology,every aspect of medical science,therefore the dangerous goods transportation cause a lot of accidents,Such as the casualties and property losses.The leakage of liquefied gas,tank explosion,fire accident occupied the main part of accidents.The paper studied the thermal response process of LPG tank container and analyzed the main influencing factors for he thermal response process in high temperature environment.That can predict and prevent the happening of the accident,the deterioration of control accidents to provide theoretical support for transportation enterprise.This paper mainly study from the following aspects:Firstly,this paper summarized the response research achievements and research content of tank container thermal at home and abroad.In the section we not only listing the classification of tank container and safety requirements,but also analyzing the factors what influencing transportation safety of the tank container.And then we analyzed the main influence factors,such as the temperature,filling quantity and wall thickness.Secondly,we established the physical model and mathematical model of the thermal response of LPG tank container in high temperature environment.Based on the conservation of the energy and the energy balance equation,the flow of the fluid in the thermal response process was studied by using the RNG turbulence model.The VOF model was used to deal with the two-phase flow in the thermal response.The three-dimensional physical model of the thermal response of the LPG tank container was established,and numerical simulations the thermal response of the tank container was carried out.The thermal response of the tank container and the convection of the tank and the convection of the tank were calculated as the boundary conditions.Thirdly,numerical simulation of thermal response of tank containers was carried out by FLUENT software.The initial high temperature environment,filling capacity and wall thickness are changed.In the process of dealing with boundary conditions,We have obtained the temperature field,pressure field and flow field of tank container thermal response,and the simulation results are compared and analyzed.So we get the influence of different high temperature,filling capacity and wall thickness to the maximum wall temperature,the maximum medium temperature and the maximum pressure in the tank,And then we made recommendations for the safe transport of LPG tank containers.The numerical simulation results show that the LPG tank container is in high temperature environment,the higher the filling rate of the tank container,the faster the pressure inside the tank,and the temperature of the medium in the tank is slowed down;The higher the outside temperature,the tank container pressure,the maximum wall temperature,the faster the internal medium temperature response,the external high temperatureenvironment on the wall temperature is more significant;When the wall thickness of tank container increases,the tank pressure,wall temperature and the internal medium temperature rise rate slows down,but the influence of wall thickness to the maximum wall temperature can be neglected.
