Design And Implementation Of Portable Automatic Test System For Acoustic Transducer

Presently, the measure of acoustic transducer for acoustic test system is mainly conducted in the anechoic tank of a laboratory, partly conducted in the lake test range. The later is limited to acoustic transducers not yet assembled. As equipment installed on ships cannot be tested in a laboratory or anechoic tank,portable test equipment for sea tests is more important. Therefore, the research and development of portable test equipment for sea tests is becoming increasingly urgent.The main functions of portable automatic test system for acoustic transducers are as follows. It can test the work performance of a transducer or transducer array of sonar equipment, automatically test the technical specifications such as the source level, directive,sample can store the raw acoustic signal data for post factum evaluation.The whole test system, consisted of hardware and software, adopts the modular design principle. The hardware includes high-resistant pre-amplifier unit, program controlled filter unit, single end / differential circuit unit, data sampling unit and other modules. The main functions of the above modules include modulation of received signals, data sampling, data storage and post processing. The console software includes parameter setup, data test, data analysis, data management and result display modules. In addition, the setup of test system on the console software is introduced and the operation process of the software is described.Many times of anechoic tank experiments and sea tests show that the portable automatic test system for acoustic transducer is stable and reliable, and that the measurement result is credible. All the specifications meet the design requirement.
