The improvement of material life level had brought about an increasing consumption of energy in global,the large consumption of energyrestricting the is sustainable development of society,the building energy consumption accounts for a quarter of global energy consumption.In recent years,in order to cope with extreme weather,the energy consumption of building is still rising,the process of energy consumptionhad aggravated the frequent occurrence of bad weather,result-in vicious cycle.The energy saving work is imminent,our country introducing building code to constraint on energy consumption of new buildingconstantly,and improving the energy conservation of existing building continuously.Facing the traditional architecture that has obvious regional characteristics and historical significance,however,it can't be equal with the transformation work of existing buildings for the protection of the original style of the building.The work of energy conservation is important,but as a continuation of the historical context,the protection of traditional architecture original style could not be ignored.The traditional folk houses in Huizhou itself belong to historical buildings,which characteristics determine in addition to considering the thermal characteristics of technology,we also need to ensure the protection of traditional buildings during the process of energy saving in Huizhou traditional residence.This paper first made an investigation about the plane layout features and structural material characteristics of the traditional dwellings in Huizhou,paid a visit to the traditional dwellings in good repair,understood the status of energy-saving reconstruction,and analyzed the deficiency of the energy-saving reconstruction of external walls.On that basis,according to the advantages of the traditional exterior wall insulation system,this paper proposed an air curtain wall insulation system.And then outlined the basic component units of this air curtain wall insulation system,which about air column and other component members;analyzed the thermotechnical principle of “air column”,and expounded how such three heat transfer modes as conduction,convection and radiation take place in the “ air column”,as well as how the transfer of heat by these three modes should be reduced.According to the actual structure requirements,three “ air column ” sizes were selected,thermotechnical parameters were derived for these three “air columns” of different sizes by thermotechnical theoretical formula and FLUENT numericalsimulation,the difference in thermal performance between the “air columns” was revealed through data,and then the “air column” with the best thermotechnical performance was selected as a structure unit.In the end,by connecting thermal performance and construction design to make sure other components' size of air curtain walls' insulation system,and combining Huizhou's traditional dwellings to consider some questions,like fire prevention,damp proof,etc.,study the mode of construction of air curtain walls' insulation system and provide the construction scheme to complete application of the practical work in Huizhou's traditional dwellings,which is a comprehensive set of air curtain walls system from plane layout,elevation design to detail construction.The purpose of this study is to put forward a kind of external wallinsulation technology which is not only to protect original wall of traditional architecture,but also improve the performance of thermal insulation to improvementindoor thermal environment in traditional architecture.This paper afford a theory and technology to support the work of external wallinsulation.
