As social economy developing, energy shortage become urgent day by day, building energy-conservation is more and more important also. The quantity and range of extant buildings are big and broad in China, most of which is non- energy conservation and waste huge energy. So, whether we can turn transformation into reality decides whether finally promotes the resources and the energy effective usage, remaining sustainable development. The cold area has a wide distribution in China, where exists massive extant housing buildings. Those buildings waste huge energy in winter. As more and more comfortable heat environment is requested by inhabitants and perfect connected regulations and policies are carried by our government, the energy-conservation transformation research regarding those buildings has practical significance. This text took "the luoyang city typical housing building" as an example and estimated those buildings' energy-consumption effects by three methods include really tests, the formula estimation and the computer simulation estimation. In this foundation and to the characteristic of extant central heating residential building in Luoyang city, transformation measures about heating system were briefly elaborated .Then Transformation measures about the buildings outside constructions were summarized and analysed, and the different energy-conservation transformations'combination patterns were analysed too by the computer simulation result comparison.Luoyang is an ordinary middle city in cold area in China and is not easy to arouse people's interesting. So research about topic advanced slowly. According to local residential building'characteristics, rational suggestions were put about Energy-conservation transformation combination patterns.
