The sluice is the main hydraulic structure in hydraulic engineering,its main function is retaining and discharge.Many sluices were built long ago had different levels of damage.In recent years,with the importance of sluices,people paid attention to the security problems,and conducted an investigate on existing problems of the sluices.Have an in-depth research on the domestic and foreign scholars have been on the safety assessment of sluice,but compared with other large-scale buildings in hydroproject,the research of these scholars on the evaluation of sluices safety is still less.The safety system of the sluice is complex,and the factors affecting the evaluation of sluices safety are numerous,both inside and outside.The knowledge and understanding of different scholars on the safety assessment of sluices indicators is different,when a certain indicators is not up to standard,different scholars’ views on the reinforcement or demolition rebuild vary from person to person,the final evaluation result has certain error.Therefore,in the practice of the safety assessment of sluices,there is still a lack of a reasonable,accurate and scientific evaluation method.In order to objectively and accurately determine the safety status of the sluice,it is necessary to make a more complete evaluation index system of the safety of the sluice on the basis of existing specification and predecessor’s research.In view of the sluice related questions of safety evaluation,based on the analysis of the scholars at home and abroad are summarized on the hydraulic construction safety evaluation methods,then combine the characteristics of the sluice project in Tianjin,safety evaluation indicators system of sluice has carried on the preliminary study,the main results were as follows:(1)All the data about sluices are collected and analyzed.The root cause of the disease is studied and the basis for selecting the index of safety evaluation is given.(2)On the basis of fully understanding and grasping the basic procedure,criterion and basis of the safety evaluation of the sluice,a complete set of safety evaluation indicators system of the sluice is established according to the formulation principle of the safety evaluation index system of the sluice.(3)Through the comparison and summarization of the various methods of safety evaluation of sluice safety,an improved analytic hierarchy process(AHP)is proposed to empower the safety evaluation index of sluice.(4)The method of dimensionless evaluation for the safety evaluation indicators of sluices are studied,and the scoring method of basic layer indicators are determined.(5)On the Haihe River Two-Gates,Beipai River sluice and Ningchegu tidal sluice by the improved AHP is analyzed by comprehensive evaluation,the evaluation of safety grade and actual identification according to expert experience the same result,verified the feasibility of the improved accuracy of the analytic hierarchy process and easy to operate.
