Opitcal fiber communication system equipped on spacecraft is based on the composition and working principle of high-speed fiber-optic communication system sets up a simple point to point digital fiber optic communication system,which can verify the effectiveness and reliability of the high-speed fiber-optic communication system in space condition.The design of Opitcal fiber communication system equipped on spacecraft is divided into three parts including hardware,logic and software design.Hardware design analyzes the selection of key components and key points of circuit design,logic design is responsible for the process of error checking and frame’s filling,and software design gives out programs of communication interface,DAC and ADC control.This paper focuses on the hardware design of the platform.Referring to the two systems(a transceiver system and a data processing system)of this platform,we make a detailed analysis and demonstration to the 2.5G high-speed serial data’s transmission and its subsequent data processing scheme which is based on the frame format of STM-16 in synchronous digital hierarchy(SONET/SDH).This scheme includes the design of power system,design of parallel LVDS data interface,high speed CML serial data interface,Ethernet interface,and the design of laser drive circuit.The transceiver section relates clock and data recovery(CDR)technology and high-speed PCB design technology,thus,the design quality of the transceiver directly affects measuring accuracy and long-term stability of the system.Starting with the principle of optical fiber communication systems,this paper makes a brief introduction of the basic theory that used by the design process and gives out the overall implementation.Then,each part of the system’s hardware circuit including schematic and PCB is detailed designed under the theoretical guidance.In order to verify the feasibility of the platform program,we test its function and performance under the laboratory environment.The final result of eye-pattern shows that the hardware platform of opitcal fiber communication system equipped on spacecraft can verify the effectiveness and reliability of the high-speed fiber-optic communication system in space condition.
