With the gradual formation of urban rail transit network, the traditional single-line construction and operation mode exposed many defects. If the line is constructed from the perspective of networking and interoperability at the initial stage, which will greatly reduce the costs of urban rail transit construction, operation and maintenance, and improve service quality.To achieve interconnection of urban rail transit involving lines, traction power supply,signal systems, vehicles, transport organizations and other aspects. The key of interconnection is signal system designed by an unified standard. The unified technical standards refers to the unified design principles, system architecture, interface technical specifications, communication protocols. As the trend of signal system, Communication Based Train Control System with general international standards, which is the first choice for achieving interconnection and interoperability. The essence of CBTC based on interoperability is the unity of interface specification between ATS (Automatic Train Supervision Systerm) , CI (Computer Interlocking) , ZC (Zone Controllor) , VOBC (Vehicle On Board Controller) which are supplied by different vender.Based on the interconnection and interoperability ChongQing urban rail transit project,the interfaces of ATS based on CBTC is researched in this paper. Firstly, the requirment of interface function between ATS and VOBC, ZC, CI is analyzed. The communication data,communication protocol, security defense measures and safety communication process between ATS and other signal subsystems are researched. The interface service softwares between ATS and VOBC, ZC, CI under Linux operating system are achieved by the object-oriented programming language C++. Finally, the test environment is set up on the project platform, and the functional testing of the system interface software is completed.
