The growing lack of traditional energy and the deteriorating environment greatly promoted the development of clean new energy power generation including wind power.However,due to the "uncontrollable" and "non-adjustable" characteristics of wind power output,its large-scale grid connection will have a significant impact on the safe and stable operation of the grid.It has brought greater burden on the auxiliary service providing conventional units such as thermal power generation.Without clear supplementary service compensation measures in our country,most of the thermal power unit is providing peak and frequency service for wind power,free of charge,which has brought challenges to thermal power or other conventional units to be profitable,also reduced their enthusiasm to provide ancillary service in the electric power system to a great extent,and not conducive to the consumption of large-scale wind power.Energy storage power station with its ability to provide high-quality auxiliary services,has become a key solution to the issues like abandoning the wind power and wasting investment.Currently,because of high cost and some technology problems,it is difficult for battery energy storage station(BESS)to be commercially applied in large-scale.Research of BESS's economy is more urgent than before and has more guiding significance.In this paper,BESS is applied to auxiliary service power market.In case of setting auxiliary service providers,providing methods and transaction rules,economy of BESS participation in wind power auxiliary service based on risk elimination is studied.Firstly,The model of wind power auxiliary service demand based on risk elimination is established.On this basis,the mathematical model of BESS is established,which is used to calculate the power and electricity quantity of wind power participated in auxiliary service,and solved it with GA method.Secondly,based on the analyze on the cost and income structure of BESS to participate in wind power auxiliary service,the comprehensive economic benefitmodel of BESS to participate in wind power auxiliary service is established.Finally,The market efficiency quantitative assessment software of Energy storage battery in auxiliary services is built based on Visual C ++ 6.0 software development platform.Based on the model solution,the ROI and the payback period of energy storage power station are calculated,and the advantages and disadvantages of the energy storage power station are evaluated.And the effects of various factors on BESS income level are quantitatively analyzed.Some reference for the present situation of the uncertainty economy of battery energy storage are provided in this paper.The research in this paper provides a theoretical support for the application of battery energy storage system in large-scale wind power grid connection.It also has some theoretical and practical meanings to the large-scale development of battery energy storage station.
