Research On The Formulating Of Overall Urban Design Guidelines Of Pinqing Lake Area In Shanwei City

Urban design is dependent in urban planning in China,but in fact they are two different tools in dealing with urban problems.Urban design is an important tool for determining the urban development and the quality of public space.Rapid urbanization makes urban functions to a mixed development.Urban problems are more reflected in the form of urban space,which urban planning can not coordinated.In the past,the city concerned about social and economic development,while now more concerned about the city's space quality.It is of great significance to explore the form and implementation of the overall urban design as a control tool in the moment of the transition needs of urban development control tools.The main contents of this paper include two main points: One is the theoretical research,,the other is the preparation of practice.In the part of theoretical research,the implementation of the overall urban design in China is reviewed.On this basis,this paper proposes that the overall urban design can be used directly for implementation and to form the overall urban design guidelines to promote the design results.By studying the three overall urban design cases in the United States,this paper provides the basis for the transformation of the overall urban design and implementation,and provides the experience reference for the preparation of the design guidelines.In the part of practice,the implementation of the Shanwei overall urban design guidelines provide some suggestions of the implementation of the overall urban design guidelines:System management ideas-First of all,put forward the specific,corresponding to the space,measurable goals.Then,control it based on the integrity of the sub-system.Classification of ideas and framework of guidelines-First,corresponding to the problem to be solved through the classification.Secondly,describe this classification with general rules and sub-rules.General rules describe the general system while sub-rules describe the elements of the system.Form of expression-"general map-rules-methodology".The additional design review checklist provides the criteria and basis for project review and decision making.Based on the case study,this paper transforms the overall urban design scheme into the design guidelines,which is a practical exploratory attempt,providing a new way for the implementation of the overall urban design.
