Research On The Formulation And Implementation Strategy Of Urban Design Guidelines In Old Cities

Since the reform and opening up,with the rapid development of China's social economy,the modern urban planning and construction have been continuously deepened.Cities have gradually evolved from a single-area construction and development model into a multi-core and multi-regional coordinated development model,but in the city's extensional development.At the same time,as the main area of the early urban development,the old city gradually emerged as a thorny issue,such as the low quality of the urban area as a whole,and the disappearance of regional characteristics,which lags behind urban development.In recent years,urban design has gradually become known as an auxiliary means of statutory planning.As its most basic form of design guide,it has been widely defined as an effective tool for translating urban space development intentions into urban space design and management.Therefore,based on the spatial development problems existing in the status quo of the old city,this paper uses urban design as a means to study the compilation of urban design guidelines for urban inner-city inner areas that are not historical and cultural cities.The paper analyzes the results of the compilation of relevant excellent urban design guidelines at home and abroad,and proposes the “levels,points,and key points” of the preparation of the current characteristics of the old city.Secondly,on the basis of fully understanding the inadequacies in the preparation of the current urban design guidelines in China,To construct a workflow including the preparation of preliminary investigations,problem summaries,goal setting,extraction of design elements,and implementation of guidelines,and select design elements that are important for improving the quality and features of the urban space in the old city.The elemental system of the meso-level and micro-vertical levels,and then put forward the corresponding control guidance recommendations;Finally,under the guidance of the urban planning guidelines in the old city,taking the old city of Hefei as the research object,the design guide for its current status issues is proposed.To control suggestions and eventually form guidelines results.
