Research On Urban Micro-space Design Guidelines

After experiencing rapid urbanization,Chinese cities have gradually entered the transition period.The urban space has changed from the rough expansion of capacity to the fine design of quality.As the most direct and easily perceived space type in the urban public space system,the spatial optimization of urban micro-space has become an important part of the quality improvement of urban space.At the same time,China's urban micro-space regional practice,which is oriented to meet the daily living needs of urban residents,has been carried out throughout the country.However,the micro-space is often scattered in the city in the form of "patches",with discrete and disordered phenomena.So,how to systematically and scientifically guide the function optimization and quality improvement of urban micro space in a way on the basis of ensuring the internal connection of urban micro space? This is the prime objective of thesis.As a scientific,systematic and highly operational way and method,urban design guidelines guide the orderly construction of urban space.Although they originated in Europe,they have been mature and perfected in the United States,especially in China,where they have been most widely applied.Micro-space belongs to the cell-level public space of the city,and it is also the most scientific and effective way to apply urban design guidelines to its special construction guidance.However,the research of public space design guidelines at micro scale in China is still in the groping stage,so is how to compile and operate the design guidelines for micro space.Therefore,by studying the perfect compilation method,content and implementation experience of urban design guidelines in the United States,this paper further explores the compilation framework and ideas of micro-space design guidelines that are suitable for the characteristics of urban construction in China,so as to better guide the reproduction of urban micro-space vitality and the construction of high-quality micro-space places.From the perspective of the experience of American urban design guidelines,this paper takes urban micro space as the research object to explore a more systematic and scientific compilation method and implementation mechanism of urban micro space design guidelines.Start within the first place,through the analysis of domestic and foreign related research on urban micro-space,combined with the extraction of American urban design guidelines on micro-space,the types of micro-space are focused on corner space,pocket park and reward space.Then,on the basis of the analysis of American urban design guidelines and related practice cases,coupled with the present situation of urban micro space construction in China and the comparative study of similarities and differences between China and the United States,this thesis provides reference for American urban micro space design guidelines from two aspects of compilation system and compilation content.Finally,in the guidance practice of urban micro space design guidelines,we mainly learn from the experience of the United States in development and construction,operation mechanism and management and control.Combined with the construction of urban micro space under the regional characteristics of Jinan,this thesis debate the existing types and construction status of urban micro space in Jinan,and puts forward the corresponding development strategies.
