With the contin ous development of the subway transportation network,the underground public space has become an important part of urban public space.The interior decoration design of the public space of the subway station is integrated into the social culture,art ddesign,people's psychological needs and other elements,which is an important symbol of a city's cultual atmosphere and aesthetic fashion.Taking Xi'an.metro line four as the project case,through a variety of psychological and emotional gernerated by the underground public space of people in the subway station and combining the theoretical research at home and abroad,put forward to improve the lack of spatial structure from the visual by means of decoration,and then slow down the subway station because of narrow and enclosed space to bring a sense of oppression,so that people have a comfortable space environiment.Pay attention to the deign of space integrity in the subway station design,using three side and horizontal decorative lines,subtraction design,and small skylight op added into the landscape design methods can effectively improve the space narrow defects,make people visually expand the horizontal space,increase the beauty of art,The color design in the entire subway line on the way,double design standard station and the main station,and the combination of the five elements theory,enhance the interest of space and into the local cultural characteristics,so that people can feel the whole city in closed undergrund space in the cultural atmosphere,but also can feel a sense of direction in the undergound space,slowing the people depressed in the semi closed underground space in the psychological environment.The use of decorative effect to improve the public space in the undergo and space and enlance the htumanistic atmoiphker,effectively alleviate the psf mholoulcal contrast in the undergpund spac'e.Therefore,it is of great value and significince to study how to improve the underground public space environment of subway station by meains of decoration.
