Oil chromatographic analysis method, through the collection of transformer in a small amount of oil sample, is analysed the gas content, which will help to quickly determine whether there is latent fault, fault nature and location in the transformer oil filling equipment. In the case of no power failure, not hanging in the core of the timely grasp of the internal operation of the transformer, it becomes an effective means of detection of internal faults.After checking the author's long-term work practice, the main work of this paper is as follows:1. Some examples are introduced in the process of practice, using a single color spectrum analysis to determine the work of the transformer fault instances. In many cases, when the transformer internal fault is still in the early stages, some conventional electrical, physical and chemical test may not be able to find fault, and oil and gas analysis was more sensitive.2. Based on oil chromatographic analysis, combining with electrical testing, the transformer fault can be successfully identified, in which the fault of the transformer is be clearly pointed.3. Oil chromatographic test is abnormal data, but the transformer is still subject to normal. Here, abnormal chromatographic analysis data need be surveyed by considering other factors to avoid blind decision.Based on the analysis of the transformer oil chromatogram spectrum lurking in the transformer fault diagnosis application effect, summed up the oil chromatographic analysis of transformer fault in the matters need attention. Oil chromatography analysis finding the transformer latent fault is a valid and sensitive method, and there is a need to further improve the timeliness, validity, accuracy, the transformer fault monitoring precision.
