As China's economic development,air transport turnover and air traffic flow has maintained a momentum of growth.In order to meet this growing demand,most of our single runway airport through the expansion project to form a double runway or multi-runway airport.With the operation of double runway,the analysis and research on the different operating modes will help improve the operational efficiency of the airport.Taking Huanghua Airport as the research background,this paper focus on three operating modes,Simulated and evaluated the Huanghua's double runway capacity.Obtained the capacity under different runway strategy.The paper first summarizes the background and significance of the research,the research status of multi-runway at domestic and foreign country,analyzed the operation mode of double runway and its operating conditions.For the segregated mode operation,through the two landing aircrafts' longitudinal spacing get the longitudinal spacing between the departure aircraft and the arrival aircraft,than we can get the segregated mode capacity.Combined with the Huanghua Airport's the actual situation get the effect of stagger distance to runway capacity during this model.For the relevant approach mode,the runway capacity model is calculated by the time interval between the combined aircraft and the non-combined aircraft,and analyzed the influence of the runway stagger on the capacity of the runway.Pairing approach mode as a new approach way,Through the pair aircraft time interval adding the time interval between the unpaired aircraft get the runway capacity calculation formula.Compared the paired approach mode and the relevant approach mode.Finally,combined with Changsha International Airport double runway running status,ground layout,the flight plan and other conditions.Evaluated the airport using the theoretical model and SIMMOD software.The simulation and capacity evaluation are carried out respectively for the runway use strategy of the segregated operation mode and the related approach mode.Through the simulation result,Get the most suitable runway operation model for this airport.The results of the study have the guidance value on the double runway operation strategy for this airport.
