Reflections On The Ecological City Planning And Construction Practice Of Sino-singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City

In the process of rapid urbanization,the scale of urban construction has been expanding,and building new towns for urban population.However,most of the development of China’s new town using the traditional development model,which has low space quality,imbalance number between jobs and accommodation,and other issues.Thus,the new model of new town development is still pregnant.Therefore,how to develop the new town under the background of urbanization become the hot spots.The key is how to coordinate the contradictions between development and protection of natural ecological environment in new town.Based on this concern,this research takes the Sino-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City as case study,which is located in the fringe of Guangzhou city with good natural background and high ecological sensitivity.By reviewing its planning and construction practice,to reconsider the shortcomings of the conventional planning mode,and conclude some advantages,this research try to provide a new model of replication and promotion for those ecological environment of high sensitivity urban and regional development.First of all,by reflecting on the construction and development of new town in the last few years,the paper argues that the way of new town should coordinate the relationship between construction and natural ecological environment —— developing under the protection.Secondly,based on the planning method from ecological priority and municipality,this paper seeks to solve the future development of Sino-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City,and put forward the planning method of "knowledge city model",creates a complete index system of eco-city construction,to ensure construction process to implement the ecological priority principle.Finally,using the development practice of new town,to test the implementation of the new town planning,and explore the "knowledge city model" whether achieve the planning goal of the new town idea.The study shows the actual control effect can not be achieved only by demarcating the sensitive area in ecological region and controlling the development model.But,to truly solve the contradictory issues in the ecological sensitive areas,it is better to coordinate environmental conservation and develop a index system to guide the development of city region,in order to achieve the sustainable development of the city region.
