Save energy and reduce greenhouse gas emissions, protecting and improving theenvironment is an urgent task in today’s world of sustainable development, greenbuilding and eco-city construction has become an inevitable trend in the wider urbandevelopment.Excellent analysis of the domestic and international eco-city cases, summed upthe successful experiences of these cities in development. Introduces the new TianjinEco-City development background and objectives, analyze its innovative eco-cityindex system. Depth analysis from multiple perspectives in the planning andconstruction practice SSTEC, summed up the experience in the development ofeco-city and deficiencies, including ecological restoration of land, greentransportation, green landscape, water system planning, waste treatment, green energyand green buildings. Combined with the international trend of eco-city developmentproposed in the Tianjin Eco-city development and improvement strategies, mainlycovers the following points:1.
