With the development of the social economy,increase of the energy demand as well as the development of new material and design theory,many coal plants with large scale,even super-critical scale,have been applied.The associated large scale boilers are also widely applied.At present,in order to satisfy the energy saving demand of our nation,many extra super-critical boiler frames adopt the join design of the side coal bunker and the bioler structure,which is a challenge to t he traditional design of the boiler frame.The boiler frame is the core structure of the power plant and the important guarrantte for the safe and reliable operation of the power plant.The boiler frame has the characteristic such as large scale,complex configration and heavy load,whose response mechanism to various loads is rather complicated.Therefore,it’s necessary to conduct research on the static and seismic response of the boiler frame.The broad girder is the key component of the suspension boil er frame,which bears the most part of the self-weight of the boiler and has great significance for the safe and reliabile operation of the boiler.Since that the dimension and the self-weight is rather large,the engineering practice employs the scheme of splitting the broad along the length in order to reduce the cost of manufacturing and transportation.However,there dosen’t exist system and mature theory and design method for the broad girder splice.Thus,it’s necessary to research on splice scheme of the broad girder along the length and provide theory guide for related engineering practice.On the basis of analyzing and summarizing the current research development both home and abroad,this paper performs research on the static response,seismic response of the boiler frame with united side coal bunker and the splice technique of the broader girder along the length,respectively.The specific research are as follows:Firstly,the dead load,live load and the wind load are conce ntrated to the structural nodes based on the configuration of the structure and equipments,the 3-D finite element model is built with ANSYS software,the static response of the boiler frame is analyzed,various loads are combined according to the load code and the most dangerous response is obtained.Secondly,the modal analysis of boiler frame with united side coal bunker is performed,and the natural frequencies and modal shapes are extracted,the dynamic characteristic is analyzed;the three directional modal decomposition analysis with code response spectrum is conducted;based on the site characteristic and the classification,two set of natural seismic records and one set of artificial seismic records are selected to perform the three-dimensional seismic time-history analysis,and the seismic performance of the boiler frame is investigated.At last,the splice node of the broad girder along the length is designed,the mechanical performance of the broad girder with various splitting location is compared,the optimal splice location is proposed considering the factors including the cost of manufacturing and transportation;due to that the ration of span to height is rather small,the influence of the shear deformation on the deflection of the broad girder is also investigated.
