Power system is regarded as the lifeline engineering.Under the action of earthquake,we should ensure the safety of the power system,to protect the lifeline function,to ensure the power supply and provide support for earthquake relief.Because of the requirements and constraints of the production process,the frame-truss structure is often used in the main building.The integral space layout is complex and irregular,the traditiongal type lags behind the demand of electric power production.In recent years,boiler-side bunker has been put forward by the designers of the power industry.It can save investment and enhance land utilization rate,but the study of its seismic performance is not comprehensive,so it’s necessary to research and analyse the seismic performance of the boiler-side bunker.Joining an engineering example of a reinforced concrete boiler-side bunker,the main research contents of this study include:Firstly,the ANSYS,a large universal finite element software,is adopted to build an linear-elastic model of a reinforced concrete boiler-side bunker,the dynamic characteristics and the seismic responses under the regulation spectrum load were studied.Through the modal analysis,the basic dynamic characteristics of boiler-side bunker can be obtainded,such as the mass distribution,stiffness matrix and vibration mode of the structure;by applying unilateral and bilateral seismic action on the structure,the seismic responses under analied load can be obtained,which help to find the place of weak story,such as the stress features and deformation characteristics.The results showed that the structure still has the obvious weak story although the arrangement of boiler-side bunker can meet the process requirements and the structural requirements.So designing the structure of boler-side bunker must adopt corresponding anti-seismic measures at the place of weak layer.In order to verify and supplement the calculation of the response spectrum analysis,elastic time-history analysis by ANSYS is used to analyze seismic performence of the reinforced concrete boiler-side buncker under the rare earthquakeof magnitude of 7(0.15g),and the calculation results are compared with response spectrum results.The results of the study showed that the response spectrum analysis can not reflect the regularity of the temporal variation of the seismic response changes although the response spectrum analysis can obtain the calculation results under the most unfavorable earthquake loads.So in the numerical simulations of the reinforced concrete boiler-side buncker,changes in time-history analysis must be used.Seismic performence of the reinforced concrete boiler-side buncker is studied by ANSYS via the method of elasto-plastic time-history analysis,the load of which is the rare earthquake of magnitude of 7(0.15g).The calculation results are the basis of whether the structure is satisfied with the seismic fortification goals which mean the structure would not collapse with strong earthquake.According to the plastic deformation indexes and inter-story displacement angle,it is easy to give an assessment of the seismic performance of the reinforced concrete boiler-side buncker.It presents application suggestions and has some reference meaning to the reasonable design of the practical engineering in the reinforced concrete boiler-side buncker.
