Intelligent substation plays a crucial role in connecting six links of smart grid,including generation,transmission,substation,distribution,consumption and dispatch.Therefore,intelligent substation is an important power facility which fulfills functions of voltage transformation,power reception and distribution,power flow control and voltage adjust for the smart grid,and focuses on "power flow,information flow,business flow" that significantly contributes to construct strong smart grid.It shows that the goal achieved by constructing strong smart grid is to acquire the higher reliability of substation.With the continuous accumulated operational experience and improved applied technology,a large increasingly number of intelligent substations will be put into operation in power systems.This paper mainly studies the intelligent design of 110 kV Shahe substation located in Binzhou.Firstly,it introduces systematic structure of intelligent substation and analyzes key application technologies on intelligent primary equipment,intelligent secondary equipment and equipment condition monitor.Secondly,a profound analysis aims at the status quo of power supply from aspects of load capacity,reliability of power supply etc.based on general situation of Shahe power supply region's capacity planning and load development in recent five years,carrying out urgent necessity to construct intelligent 110 kV Shahe substation.Then,a feasible network design scheme for Shahe intelligent substation combined with actual situations is proposed,and finishes parts of primary and secondary system design.Finally,according to the geographical environment,capacity and loop numbers which determine the main electrical connection modes and station electrical wiring modes of substation in order to select transformer types.As a result,the electrical layout is determined.Furthermore,selecting and checking main electrical equipment and wires that complete the design insulation coordination,overvoltage protection and integrated automation system of substation.This paper also provides effective guidance and demonstration for the intelligent substation design in the future,with highly promotional value.
