The Implementation Of Operation Scheme And Train Diagram For Wushi Interurban Railway

With the rapid development of Chinese economy,regional economic integration of central China is gradually taking shape and the Wuhan city cluster has become mature.The increase of resident trips has been enhanced greatly since the scale expanding of the city cluster and population.It is difficult for the current traffic modes to satisfy the traffic requirements of general public under the limit condition of space distance and other factors.Therefore,intercity rail transit,which is one kind of rapid and comfortable means of public transportation,has become an important travel mode gradually.Meanwhile,Wushi interurban railway plays a significant role of Wuhan city cluster which not only facilitates the communication and connection in Wuhan city cluster,but also optimizes the industrial layout and work operation division so as to promote and balance the regional economy and give rise to the development of the city.Reasonable and efficient operation plan is the foundation for Wushi interurban railway to ensure good performance of the intercity rail traffic system.This paper focus on the design of operation plan of Wushi interurban railway based on the actual operation data obtained since it had been opened more than one year ago and the forward prediction data.Several feasible train formulation plans,train routing schemes and stop schedule plans are proposed through quantitative calculating and analyzing the spatial and temporal distribution characteristics of line passenger flow.The optimal operation plan is selected by comparing the number of serviceable cars,the complexity of train operation organization and the level of service among each plan.Train operation diagrams for workday and weekend are programmed respectively according to the selected optimal operation plan,and then the reasonability and efficiency of this plan is checked by calculating the relevant indicators.Meanwhile,the situation that adjusting transport capacity and controlling passenger flow can realize the line proper functioning is discussed with the case of massive passenger flow during vacations and taking line alignment into consideration when designing the emergency plan for abnormal situations.
