The Analysis On The Space Of The Fortress Settlements Of Jinzhong Based On Space Syntax

In recent years,the urbanization is constantly advancing with the rapid development of economy.The traditional village,as the carrier of Chinese culture was pushed to the forefront,however,because of the backward development of the traditional village,there are some problems about the village,such as the space form of the village presented a blind and disorderly state,many problems greatly affect the traditional villages,it's important to rescue and protect the cultural heritage immediately.The fortress Settlements,as an important branch of the traditional settlements,the unique defensive measures and its spatial form is inseparable.The Space Syntax theory will be applied to the study of the fortress settlements space form.It will be created a new opportunity for the livingenvironment of the traditional fortress settlements,which can provide conditions for the sustainable development of the traditional settlements.Above all,it can not only make a systematic study about the the fortress Settlements,but also provide an example for the study of traditional Chinese fortress settlements.On the basis of analyzing the space situation of Jinzhong fortress settlements,the famous historical and cultural village of Songjiazhuang in Xiaoyi will be select as a typical case of Jinzhong fortress settlements.To summarize the space characteristics of Songjiazhuang and clear up the defensive measures and system,with the help of Space Syntax theory system and related computer software----Depth map to segment the village space by the method of convex space,axial map,vision field from three aspects: macro,meso and micro.Then transformed into the mathematical model to settle the space information.It will be summarized the space characteristics of Songjiazhuang fortress settlements after interpretation of the data.To compare the graphic data by the Space Syntax software Depth map and the spatial experience by field investigation,it is concluded that the results keep a high consistency,thus the conclusion can guide the space layout for Songjiazhuang effectively.And to explore the Space Syntax how to come up with the new method to help protect the fortress settlements space for Songjiazhuang,so it can interpretation the relationship between the traditional fortress settlements space and the human activities rational.It breaks the traditional analysis method of point,line and plane space onthe Songjiazhuang fortress settlements space by the Space Syntax.It applied the Space Syntax to the traditional fortress settlements,combined with the advantages of Space Syntax theory in the study of urban space planning,make up the application defects of the Space Syntax theory in the traditional fortress settlements space.This is a precedent of Space Syntax analysis apply in fortress settlements,it not only verify the defensive characteristics of the settlements,but also play a certain guiding role for the fortress settlement space layout.
