The Cognitive Mechanism And Application Of Construction Supervisors' Unsafe Behavior

The unsafe behavior of construction supervisors is an important cause of construction accidents,which is demanded to be raised to improve the safety situation of construction industry as common status.However,existing research has failed to reveal the mechanism of unsafe behavior of construction supervisors and has not yet given effective measures to reduce supervisors' unsafe behavior.Therefore,this paper systematically identifies supervisors' unsafe behavior and sorts out the root cause through the cognitive mechanism of the supervisors' unsafe behavior,meanwhile the research also puts forward the counter measures to raise the supervision qualification.The main research work and achievements of the thesis includes the following contents: 1)Firstly,the paper identifies construction supervisors' unsafe behavior through analyzing literature applying the method of accident report analyzing and expert interviewing.2)Then the research build the mechanism model of supervisors' unsafe behavior caused by disabled cognition based on the theory of behavior is the product of cognitive.3)Meanwhile,the paper also analyzes the reasons of the disabled cognition based on the mechanism of supervisors' unsafe behavior.4)And then,the causal examination of the causes supervisors' unsafe behavior is carried out by means of behavior observation and interview.5)Based on the reasons of unsafe behavior identified by the mechanism analyzing,the paper puts forward the corresponding supervisory measure for the supervisory level,the government supervision department and the public supervision department respectively.On a theoretical level,the paper expounds the mechanism of supervisors' unsafe behavior from the perspective of supervisors,explaining the cognitive process of unsafe behavior and the relationship with influencing factors,which provides a new perspective for the safety research of construction industry for the current research on unsafe behavior of the construction industry is focused on the insecure state of the material and the unsafe behavior of the workers,lacking of research on supervisors'.This research also arises public concern on supervisors' unsafe behavior through analyzing the mechanism of unsafe behavior,the implementation of effective guide on supervisors' supervise process to improve the safety monitoring and reduce the loss caused by the safety accidents from practice side.
