The sub-assembly robot welding production line is a research focus of current shipbuilding enterprises.It is mainly applied to the sub-assembly workpiece production,which can efficiently reduce the labor cost,improve the welding quality and production efficiency,and achieve large-scale,efficient and mass intelligent manufacturing model.It is an irresistible development trend of shipbuilding.This paper analyzes the sub-assembly production status of China's shipbuilding enterprises,and combines the concept of intelligent manufacturing and the theory of fine production to put forward the process reengineering technique based on the sub-assembly welding production line.Following that,relevant theories of process reengineering and the theory of process reengineering are analyzed.Next,the process reengineering theoretical model is built,and the model implementation method is studied.Then,the model is applied to some specific cases.To be specific,this paper includes the following part:(1)Concerning two kinds of commonly-seen sub-assembly robot welding production lines,this paper expounds on the overall layout,application scope,station layout,control system and environment requirements of the sub-assembly robot welding production line.Based on analysis of the current domestic sub-assembly production status,problems impeding normal operation of the sub-assembly robot welding production line,including inapplicability of the current block model,failure of the model to be accurately connected with the welding system,slow assembly between panels and materials,difficulty of facility layout and chaotic logistics,are pointed out.(2)Based on relevant theories of process reengineering,this paper points out that the sub-assembly robot welding production line is a systematic project.Combining theoretical models and production characteristics of sub-assembly production,relevant problems of process reengineering are analyzed.Products,facilities,design and logistics are chosen as research elements.A theoretical model based on process reengineering of the sub-assembly robot welding production line is built.(3)Considering completeness and systematicness of the model,the hierarchical relationship among elements involved in the process reengineering theoretical model is analyzed.Product selection,detailed design,facility layout and logistics optimization are combined to gradually analyze the construction methods.(4)By referring to a series of data and materials,the process reengineering model and its application method are applied to the sub-assembly production workshop of a shipbuilding enterprise for a case study.The application results are analyzed,and the conclusions are drawn.The process reengineering research model can allow the sub-assembly robot welding production line to operate normally,guarantee full play of the production line effects,and achieve the initial target effects and production requirements of the production line.Besides,it can greatly improve the production efficiency,reduce the number of personnel,guarantee welding quality and improve production continuity and management level.The process reengineering based on the sub-assembly robot welding production line is proposed the first time in China.Research steps,reengineering model and implementation methods of this paper can provide valuable references for other domestic shipbuilding enterprises.
