Nowadays,the construction industry as one of the three major industries,increases with economic development investment.Investment control of construction projects is the most reasonable allocation to investment to achieve the desired effect with less investment.So investment control is an effective method to control resources in the construction industry.Yet average sources are not enough for each person in China.In the situation that lacking resources,it is vital to invest efficiently in construction industry.As the increasing focus on construction investment management,the public has been more effective methods to improve the efficiency of investment.BIM is an information platform that can be used in the whole process of construction project to facilitate the communication of all parties in the project.It can realize the effective management of project cost and reduce the runaway investment under the premise of ensuring the quality of the project.Therefore,we have studied the application of BIM in Entire Process Management of Construction Project Cost(EPMCPC)in this subject.BIM is used as a means to manage the cost of the whole process.Based on the analysis of the current development status of BIM and the attitudes of our government,industry and enterprises to applying BIM to construction projects,this paper studies the Feasibility of the BIM application in EPMCPC.The whole process of project cost management is divided into stage,so that we can better analyze the advantages brought by using BIM cost management in each stage.The pre-planning stage is the beginning of the whole process engineering cost management.At this stage,the AHP method is used to derive the importance of the influencing factors,based on which the best historical and similar projects are selected combined with BIM.And then it needs to prepare the investment estimates by using data obtained,so as to produce a more accurate estimate of investment that meet the requirements of investors.The design phase is the most important stage in the whole cost management process.The role of BIM in the this phase is to realize the mutual transformation of design between 3D and 2D,to refine and optimize the project cost Step by step from the investment estimate to the design budget and then to the construction plan budget,getting the best design with the investment in a reasonable range.During the construction phase,BIM is used to optimize the construction organization design and conduct simulating construction before the project,so as to prevent and control the risk and to solve the problems that may arise in the project.At the same time,the construction cost is dynamically controlled within the investment scope to avoid the investment out of control.The operational maintenance phase is the final stage of the EPMCPC.in which we can use informatization and data collection capabilities to reduce the cost of this stage.And finally complete the management of BIM on the entire project cost.The EPMCPC is not limited to a certain stage,and the research of the use of BIM has also changed the situation of intermittent and uncomprehensive in its application.BIM exists as the core of informationization of construction,so the application of BIM in the whole process of cost management is an effective way to improve the current status of investment in the construction industry and can bring better benefits.
