Experimental Research on Mechanical Properties of Mortarless Aerated Concrete Masonry Reinforced by Core ColumnsAiming to improve defects,such as slow construction speed,low degree of industrialization,highly-relay on workers' skills,high labor cost,big discreteness of strength,etc.,of traditional construction with autoclaved aerated concrete(abbreviation as AAC)blocks and masonry,this essay invented a new structure system,which is Mortarless Aerated Concrete Masonry Reinforced by Core Columns.In this structure system,two holes in diameter 50-100 mm are separately set at the quarter point of each long sides of each blocks,which will be constructed as a wall without mortar while all holes are alignment but joints are stagger.When high fluidity concrete has been grouted into all vertical holes and has been maintained till solid,the strength and stability of the wall will be reinforced a lot.Therefore,this new structure system will be wildly used.To make further research of the mechanics characteristic under horizontal and vertical force and mechanical properties of this structure system,this essay applied experimental and finite element analysis on standard samples of Mortarless Aerated Concrete Masonry Reinforced by Core Columns,and has made main research achievements as followed,(1)According to compression-experimental research on 16 different samples,this essay discussed the characteristics of fracture growing,damage mechanism,and transformation of Mortarless Aerated Concrete Masonry Reinforced by Core Columns.This essay also analyzed factors,which including blocks' strength,hole ratios,concrete's strength,may infect masonry compressive strength and their rules,reasoned the formula for calculating average value of compressive strength,got the expression of design value.Through the regression analysis of experimental data,this essay concluded the formula for masonry's compressive stress-strain constitutive relation,and the formula for elasticity modulus.The results shows that,when the high fluidity concrete,which has been grouted into holes,is C25 and the grout ratio is no less than 8.37%,the Mortarless Aerated Concrete Masonry Reinforced by Core Columns has no less compressive strength as regulation for M5 mortar masonry in Technical specification for application of autoclaved aerated concrete.(2)According to shearing-experimental research on 8 different samples,this essay discussed the characteristics of fracture growing and damage mechanism of Mortarless Aerated Concrete Masonry Reinforced by Core Columns.This essay also analyzed main factors may infect masonry shear strength and their rules,reasoned the formula for calculating average value of shear strength,and got the expression of design value.The results shows that,when the high fluidity concrete,which has been grouted into holes,is C25 and the ratio of grout is 13.08%,the Mortarless Aerated Concrete Masonry Reinforced by Core Columns has no less shear strength as regulation for M5 mortar masonry in Technical specification for application of autoclaved aerated concrete;when it is 8.37%,the Mortarless Aerated Concrete Masonry Reinforced by Core Columns has no less shear strength as regulation for M2.5 mortar masonry in Technical specification for application of autoclaved aerated concrete.(3)This essay applied ABAQUS on analyzing the compressive and shear process of Mortarless Aerated Concrete Masonry Reinforced by Core Columns,the stress nephogram basically reflected the fracture morphology of samples,and finite element analysis result matched the experiment's data.This research elucidated that Mortarless Aerated Concrete Masonry Reinforced by Core Columns has better mechanical property and easier construction method,it can be wildly applied as load bearing wall in low multi-stores building structure,and be applied as infilled wall in reinforced concrete or steel construction.
