The Reviews Of Yingzaofashi Terminology Based On Analysis Of Research Achievement

"Yingzaofashi" was a classics book of ancient building code promulgated by the Northern Song Dynasty government which majoring in assessing the project and counting the materials.It has a history of nearly a thousand years.the author Li Jie established the architecture terminology of "Yingzaofashi".In order to trace back to the source of terminology,he researched ancient classics books and historical records.He also recorded dialect and common saying under different regional backgrounds.These played an important role in inheriting and developing construction technology.However,for contemporary scholars,it is hard to understand some age-old terminology.As a result,we have problems with reading ancient building and interpreting "Yingzaofashi".Since modern times,there have been several generations of scholars make a large number of interpretation work about "Yingzaofashi" terminology in warying degrees.There have been a considerable number of relevant research results.However,because of some terminology lacking of material examples,or some terminology were not indetail recording in "Yingzaofashi",a part of terminology can not be clearly interpreted yet.For these reasons,we should collect and sort out research achievements,and make development progress clearly in time.Based on the existing research achievements of "Yingzaofashi",this paper summarizes the interpretation results of "Yingzaofashi" terminology,analyzes relative academic thoughts,research methods,material and literature examples of existing research results.This paper classified "Yingzaofashi" terminology into three categories: welldefined,disputed and unaccountable terminology.In order to provide reference and reference for the follow-up study of the "Yingzaofashi" terminology,this paper will combine with interdisciplinary research methods such as architecture and linguistics,make analysis about controversial issues,and evaluation some of these issues to some extent.
