Aero engine is the core component of the aircraft,which is the driving force for the development of aircraft.The engine blades occur break phenomenon as a result of fatigue,impact of foreign objects and others factors.When the blades break out,the containment capacity of casing resisting blades impact will influence aircraft flight safety.Therefore,it is of great significance to improve the containment of casing.In this paper,the impact resistance and containment of aluminum honeycomb sandwich structure casing,projectile impacting aluminum honeycomb sandwich plate experiments are studied combined with theoretical analysis,experimental research and numerical simulation method.The main research contents are as follows:(1)The finite element model of blade vertically impacting aluminum honeycomb sandwich structure casing is created based on CREO,Hypermesh and other CAD,FEM software.Define the material model,contact type and other pre-processing procedure according to the character of blade impacting casing.Then,solving the FEM model through LS-DYNA software.(2)Based on the finite element model of blade impacting casing,analyze the impact resistance of aluminum honeycomb sandwich structure casing.Then discuss the impact resistance of single structure casing,double layer structure casing and sandwich structure casing.Obtain the critical breakdown velocity of different types casing according to the energy variation of casing-blade,the phenomenon of casing damage and blade deformation.Finally,the dynamic response analysis is discussed during blade impacting casing with different oblique angle.(3)The blade rotation impacting Casing Containment analysis model is established,for analyzing the process of the blade impact casing in the different blades fracture number,different fracture speed,the spacing of broken blade-casing,aluminum honeycomb sandwich structure inside and outside panels of different thickness ratio,the interaction between the adjacent blades and the broken blade.Then,discuss the influence of those factors to casing containment capability based on the phenomenon of casing damage and energy variation of blade-casing.(4)The Ballistic impact test system will be set up due to modern sensor testing technology.Then,the impact experiments will be carried out with pointed projectile and rod projectile during different speed and different pan structure of aluminum sandwich.Finally,create the finite element model with the same condition of experiments,analyzing the strain time history tendency of test point between the experiments and simulation to get reliability of simulation results.
