In China,the development of construction industry has been turning to building reinforcement,modification and reusing on a large-scale from creating new buildings.Building modification needs a lot of manpower and material resources and development of modication technology is crucial.Each building has been endowed an initial design function and its structure system has been established.It's difficult to change construction especially for high-rise building construction transformation.On the other hand,at present,requirements ofarchitecture functions becomes higher.Including functional diversity and producing more benefit.In this paper,aiming at these problems,a new design thinking is put forward.At the beginning of design,considering construction modification demand in advance,it can provide more adjustment space.Taking a practical shear wall project for an example and considering the condition of building function transformation,this paper made a deep analysis about safety and economy of shear wall.The main contributions of the study are included as follows:This paper adopts the advanced software ETABS to model and calculate.And paper compared structural dynamic,structural internal force and structural deformation of the traditional shear wall scheme and the new scheme considering reformation in advance.Including structural period,.translational coefficient,torsion coefficient,the inter-story displacement angle and the function cost.The comparison results showed that:structural force and deformation of two schemes both can meet specification requirements.Technical feasibillity and construction security has been proved in this paper.This paper compared function and cost of two schemes.Using expert evaluation method and analytic hierarchy process method obtained building function index weight.Using value formula computed the value coefficient.The result shows that:the total cost difference between two schemes is not big.It means the new scheme is economic and reasonable.At the same time,the value coefficient of new scheme increased.It prove that new scheme can provide building structure with more flexible transformation space in later period.It can give full play of building potential and improve the function of building.It shows this kind of construction thinking is worth to extend.This paper compared two shear wall layout schemes under different anti-seismic grade.The results shows that:under seismic grade 7,period ratio and most inter-story displacement angle of new scheme meet the specification requirements.Structural internal force of new scheme decreased.It means the new scheme is feasible in technology.Comparing with the original scheme,the value coefficient of new scheme improved 13.95%,but the cost coefficient decreased.It means the new scheme under low anti-seismic grade not only can achieve the purpose of reformation in later period,but also can reduce the cost to a certain extent.
