In our country,the semi-rigid base is widely used in the high grade road base,However,it also brings a lot of problems at the same time,For example,it is easy to reflect the cracks in the surface layer,the primary damage caused by the infiltration of water,and the surface layer asphalt mixture water damage caused by poor drainage.The use of asphalt treated flexible base which can avoid the problems caused by rigid base,and also can adapt to the current situation of heavy overloading in our country,The amount of raw materials cost and other factor which impedes the use and spread greatly,how to reduce the cost and improve the performance of asphalt-treated base,which has become an important direction of today's research.The residue after extraction and separation of coal liquefaction residues composed of more Bp and asphaltene,which composition properties are similar to road asphalt If we can use it in the asphalt treated flexible base,which will solve two problems development of flexible base asphalt pavement and the treatment of residue at the seme time.But now,most of the research is focused on the modification and replace road asphalt of purified residuer by wet mixing process,the research still did not get thedesired results because of the presence of Bp and other impurities.The substitution for theimport media by adding asphalt mixture with dry blending process which is lack of systematic analysis and research.In this paper,the composition,size distribution and microscopic morphology of the residue were measured,the difference and relationship between LQ material and general packing are analyzed.Making asphalt mortar with LQ material instead of mineral powder in six different proportions of 0,20%,40%,60%,80%,100%,The determination and analysis of pitch,viscosity,ductility and temperature sensitivity of asphalt mortar,has been prove LQ material as filler can improve the high temperature stability of asphalt mortar,however,will damage the flexibility and extensibility of the mortar at the same time.Marshall test was carried out under three ATB-25 grades by replacing 50% filler,The OAC of three grades decreased by 0.3 to 0.4% after replacing,then the author analyzes the Marshall indexes at the same time.By comparing with other common fillers(mineral powder and cement)asphalt mixture on pavement performance,we find that asphalt mixture of LQ has many advantages,such as the mechanical index is the best,the ability of resisting high temperature deformation is the strongest,and the fatigue resistance under low stress is the most prominent,but the low temperature stability has been greatly affected and weakened at the same time.The road in the asphalt treated flexible base has fewer requirements in low temperature cracking resistance of the mixture,so it can fully meet the requirements of road.Finally,through the analysis of the lifecycle assessment(LCA),proved that LQ material has high environmental friendliness economic.LQ material can reduce the cost of asphalt-treated base,and improve its road performance at the same time,which has good economic and environmental benefits.
