The development status of belt conveyor protection system is analyzed,based on the existing methods,the conveyor belt deviation,longitudinal tear,slipping and abnormal speed the four fault,a belt conveyor protection system with automatic deviation correction,tear monitoring,speed monitoring and slip monitoring is constructed.Compared with existing protection systems,the automatic correction of the system is more rapid and accurate,it is more sensitive to tear,speed and slip monitoring.The system uses the ARM chip of STM32F1 as the microcontroller,the photoelectric sensor monitoring conveyor belt deviation,Through the real-time detection and tracking on the conveyor belt on the back of the photosensitive lines to determine whether the conveyor belt deviation.once the deviation,the controller immediately sends out the deviation signal,the system adopts the step motor to drive the ball screw and the correcting shaft to correct automatically.Tear monitoring uses embedded inductor coils within the conveyor belt,The signal emitted by the probe is transmitted to the receiving probe through the inductance coil,The signal in the receiving probe is compared with the standard signal through a series of processing steps such as amplification,filtering,frequency conversion,AD conversion and so on.If the frequency of the signal is different from that of the standard signal,it is proved that the inductance coil is changed,and then the belt is torn,The system will immediately send out alarm signal and stop the conveyor belt.Speed and slip monitoring used in conveyor belt driven roller around within the outer circle at a certain distance the installation of a number of steel,through the Holzer sensor to count after the magnet,once the count value within the unit time is different from the standard value,the system sends out an alarm at once to achieve the conveyor belt speed and slip monitoring.At the same time,the protection system designs the host computer interface and its communication interface,the utility model facilitates the real-time monitoring and control of the whole conveying belt by the staff.The experimental results show that,the protection system can achieve the expected technical indicators and can be well applied to the actual production.
