Facing the issue of high rate of traffic accidents,congestion and environment pollution,Intelligence Transportation System provides us an initiative way to solve those problems.But due to the incomplete and imprecise traffic information on collection system,we have some difficulties sharing real-time information and making adaptive feedback.Thus,we haven't had effective ways to build a well performed Intelligence Transportation System of Chengdu City under present situation of being weak in traffic light control adaptively,system intercommunication,and lack of providing safe driving service and implementing bus pass first policy.The paper is to make a new method on traffic information collection and sharing,and release those information via Internet timely,which involves traffic volume,speed,atmosphere visibility,temperature,humidity,gathered water and frozen ice on road surface.It can be a reference for traffic controlling,dispersion and safe operation.The traffic information collection system includes geomagnetic information collection and environment information collection.By collecting the earth magnetic field data and analyzing the changes on data,the geomagnetic information collector can obtain the current traffic information.Due to its fixed installation in road,there is no external power supply so that MP430 single chip microcomputer as main control unit for low power consumption and low cost can communication with geomagnetic information processor on ZigBee Agreement.The hardware system of geomagnetic information processor is ARM microcontroller.and operating system is Linux.We have specific and detailed requirements on main controlling procedure.Environment information collection system is to collect environment data with environmental sensors.Each individual sensor can communicate with USB(RS485).The communication protocol is MODBUS-RTU Agreement.The environment data collector sends data to central server via network.
