More than 20 years,Compressed Natural Gas-engines(CNG)developed increasingly since China's first CNG station has been established in the late 1980's.Getting the opportunity of Shanxi Provincial GUOXIN Energy Development Group's gas sources passing through Shouyang County,Company ZB decides to build CNG stations after field an investigation in the county and contacted with local government. This program solves the problem of vehicle gas demand for those areas nearby but not yet built the CNG stations.By conducting field research, this paper presents the current domestic and international situation of CNG program, including program overview, market analysis and program construction. Then, the paper makes comments on the selection of gas source and technical scheme and on the preparation of process equipment.Meanwhile, the design of utilities system, the planning of environmental energy conservation, the establishment of institutional framework and staff establishing, the planning of labor safety and industrial hygiene and the improvement of fire facilities are also discussed in this paper. At last,a feasible conclusion is given through the investment estimation and economic analysis.Through the full use of the local transport hub status, the goal of car gassing industry and even the rapid economic development has been achieved.Additionally, with the extensive use of natural gas vehicles, emissions problems will be alleviated, thereby enhancing the local air quality.Furthermore, the significantly reduction of vehicle operating costs greatly promoted the socio-economic development. The implementation of this project can not only solve the problem of gassing and location, but also promote social harmony.
