Exploration And Practice Of Industrialized Construction With Standardized Modular Light Steel Structure House

Light steel structure has been widely used in developed countries,however,steel structure is applied in China at a rather low percentage.With the background of construction industrialization promotion and green building development by the government,there is good opportunity for the development of light steel structure.This dissertation has focused on how to realize industrialized construction of light steel structure buildings using standardized modular,with consideration of the features of light steel structure,combining with mature application technologies from abroad.Standardized modular light steel structure is to divide the traditional light steel structure building into certain modular units,which are welded and assembled on production line with thermal insulated,energy-saving,environment-friendly enclosure elements for industrialized installation,and assembled into a modular house with fine decoration using special equipment.Over 80%construction work is completed in the factory,and the modular units are delivered to site like normal containers transportation,together with necessary tools and accessories for site installation.After some work for connecting part of two units,they are assembled into a complete building.With this kind of construction technique,the'building construction and the foundation construction can be conducted at the same time,which will save at least half of the construction duration,compared with traditional construction.Most of the construction work is completed in the factory,which minimize the construction waste and noise on site,and increase the efficiency of construction processes.With the existing standardized container transportation by truck or onvessel,the cost of delivery is also reduced.Through mechanized production on production line,the construction quality is guaranteed efficiently for each process of the building.This technology is a construction system with modular house construction mode introduced from Japan and combined with steel structure building mode.The system design was completed in early 2012,then it has been applied to several projects in China in 2013,and recognized as construction method in Jiangsu Province in 2014.This technology can be applied to build small and medium sized residential and public constructions,such as express way service zone,chain motels,apartments building,schools,private houses and villas.It can satisfy the construction required functions,increase the construction efficiency and quality,and finish construction in very short time to be ready for use.Construction industry is one of the pillar industries in China,regarded as a leading sector for,national economy.For many years,it stays as traditional manual work,and the constraints and influences between construction processes have seriously limited the economy construction progress,and 'brought huge waste of resources and environment pollution.To change the current situation,construction industrialization should be realized as soon as possible.Compared withother construction methods,standardized modular light steel structure construction method,with its features fit for industrialization requirements,can realize the industrialization transformation more easily.It has not only been a good demonstration of industrialization transformation,but also saved social resources and protected the ecological environment.
