With the development of economic, container transportation has become the most important part of world transport.Large numbers of carbon emissions have been generated by the dense sea route and the port operation. In our country, the transition to a low carbon port is in the initial stage. Therefore,it is necessary to carry out research on the truck and gantry crane path optimization considering low carbon in our country,in order to reduce the carbon emission and improve the operation efficiency of the port. The paper firstly described the current situation and problems of path optimization of gantry cranes and container trucks at home and abroad.Secondly, based on low carbon theory, this paper expounds the basic situation of the port, handling technology and process, and analyzing the present carbon emissions situation of the port.Besides, the situation and transforming formulas of energy consumption and carbon emission of main loading and unloading equipment is proposed.Thirdly, based on considering the non-crossing of space between yard cranes and other constrains, this study proposes three emissions sources including move carbon emission, loading and unloading carbon emission and prepared carbon emission.A RTG route optimization model considering carbon emissions is built in order to minimize the carbon emissions of RTG.Numerical experiments are performed to evaluate the effects of the new method in three aspects: route length, total carbon emissions and operational efficiency. Finally, this paper discusses the main part of the truck carbon emissions, establishes the port trucks route carbon emissions optimization model of the "work surface";bases on the basic theories of genetic algorithm, this paper puts forward the algorithm design of truck routing.Numerical experiments are performed to evaluate feasibility and effectiveness of the model and genetic algorithm. It is important to provide effective guidance for the green port construction. The research results show that the route optimization theory and algorithm of gantry crane and truck is feasible in practical operation of port. Therefore it has certain theoretical guiding significance to green port operation and equipment scheduling process in the future.
