Since the reform and opening up,great changes have taken place in China's construction industry.During the reform and opening up,we must strengthen our management in every aspect,improve our quality and build our core competitiveness if our construction enterprises want to stand on the peak in the fierce competition.Unfortunately,the current situation is that our construction enterprises don't pay enough attention to cost management.The author according to himself experience of the fifth part of Chengdu Yufeng project management,make some research as follows:First of all,the author reviews domestic and abroad research status of cost control theory,earned value method and quality earned value method,focusing on the traditional earned value method and quality earned value connotation.Secondly,the author expounds the traditional earned value method.Based on the statistical data,the author calculate BCWS,BCWP and ACWP,furthermore,calculate CV,SV,SPI and CPI four indexes,finally according to the four indexes analyze the level of project cost and schedule control.Through the analysis we can see that the traditional earned value don't include quality factor,which seriously affected its practical results.Thirdly,bring quality factor into the traditional EVM,this is the essence of quality earned value method.The quality of construction is the coefficient ratio of the final quality level and quality level of the initial planning,engineering construction quality and ultimately reflect the consistent quality of the initial planning level.Then calculate the finished project quality cost,quality,cost deviation,deviation correction correction,schedule deviation correction cost deviation rate and fixed rate of progress deviation index.Finally,the author takes the fifth part of Chengdu Yufeng project as an example,describes the application of the traditional earned value method.Then,take the earthwork project as an example,to determine the quality coefficient using the expert scoring method,based on actual data items as the basis,elaborated the quality earned value method.Comparing the final effect of quality earned value method and the traditional earned value method,the result shows the superiority of quality earned value method.At the end,some suggestions are given according to the company'smanagement.Practice has proved that QEVM could control quality,schedule and cost at the same time.It is compensate for the weakness of the traditional earned value method.
