Design And Performance Analysis Of Railway Vehicle Bogie Based On American Standards

With the rapid development of high-speed railway in our country(China),the increasing maturity of the technology of rail passenger vehicle,especially in high speed train,but based on the current domestic market demand,our country’s railway vehicles need to go out.The North American market has gradually become the second largest market after China,while the United States is the most important country in North America.As one of the key systems of the railway vehicle,the bogie was once restricted to the North American countries.Although some of the railway manufactures in China have received metro orders from USA,the bogie always imported foreign technology.Therefore,the technical research on American standard bogie is self-evident in academic and economic sense.Based on the research and analysis of the vehicle bogie in the North American market and the technical requirements of the majority of vehicle users in North America,this thesis has formed the information of the design input of the American standard bogie.The computer aided software CAD is used to complete the design of the bogie general arrangement and the 3D design of the bogie is completed by the 3D model design software(Creo Parametric).Then,analyze and verify the strength calculation and dynamic performance of the designed bogie.Finally,the static strength and fatigue strength test of the bogie frame and bolster are completed,which verifies the design of the bogie.
