The Design Of Ship Cabin Interior Space Based On Environmental Psychology

As the increasing of the inte rnational status of our count ry,the cooperation works with the foreign countries is growing as the sam e time in recent years.The different kinds of long time voyage missions are really important that they can guarantee the economic development of our country.Based on the researches of the psychology health condition of the sailors from the large amount of the scholars,the psychology health condition of the sailors will get worse as the time goes longer during the navigation m issions.It is not good fo r the sailors’ health,but also bad for safety insurance of the sailing works.As the condition of that,this essay will do the optimal design of the typical cabin space based on the research of the environm ental psychology and the cab in space design theo ries.The objective evaluation m ethods of the space will be built through the virtual wandering sy stem at the sam e time.This essay will dived into several points as follow;Firstly,this paper discussed the literatures of the sailors’ psychology health condition in recent years and comes to the resu lt that the m ain element that influences the psychology health condition of the sailors is the cabin environment.As the reason of that,the first mission of this essay is to analyze the mentality and the behavior of the people in the indoor environment through the angle of the environm ental psychology.Then focus on the cabin indoor environment to analyze the elem ents that can influence the sailors’ mentality and behavior.Finally concludes two m ethods that can be used in the desi gn process for the cabin indoor space based on the environmental psychology.Secondly,this essay tries to confirm the de finition of the space design;researches the basic concepts of cabin space structure;summarizes the dividing types of the cabin space and researches the distribution problem s of the cab in indoor space.Then,this paper summarizes the structuring method of the cabin indoor space that based on the environmental psychology.Thirdly,this essay indicates the principles of the cabin space design form three aspects that are functional goals,psychol ogical requirements and spiritual requirements.Confirm the design target and the design pro cess of the cabin indoor space design.Based on the literature review and the several case studies of the cabin spaces design,this paper choose three typical cabin to do the optim al design including the m eeting cabin,office cabin and the equipm ent cabin.Finally,this essay com es up with four basi c functions that the cabin virtual wandering should have based on the researches of the space design through the virtual wandering method to display the cabin indoor space.Using the Unity3 D engine to combine and realize these four functions.Finally this paper gets the exploitation process of the cabin space virtual wandering display using the Unity 3D.
