Research On The Characteristics And Renewal Design Of Traditional Villages' Spatial Form In Hami

Under the background of economic and social development,villages bear the great influence brought by the profound changes in the economic society.The traditional village environment inherited from generation to generation is irreversibly changed.The reckless and unreasonable update mode resulted from blindly promoting urbanization makes traditional villages even harder to continue.Considering this,based on the relevant theories of spatial patterns in architecture,taking traditional villages' spatial form in Hami as the primary research object,this paper explores the influence of location idea,ideology,production mode and environmental adaptation on the development of traditional villages.Moreover,while promoting economic and social development in rural areas,this paper puts forward the requirements for the protection and renewal of traditional villages,hoping to systematically summarize and propose strategies for the renewal and transformation of traditional villages on the basis of further exploring the spatial form and characteristics of traditional villages so as to promote the protection and sustainable development of local traditional villages.This paper is mainly discussed from the following three aspects.First,this paper learns and analyzes the current research status at home and abroad so as to deepen our understanding of the current situation of rural settlement.Meanwhile,the background,purpose and significance of the study are summarized,aiming to clarify the research direction and carry out targeted research on traditional villages in Hami.Second,this paper analyzes traditional villages in Hami in terms of geographical location,historical evolution,natural environment and social background.It summarizes the influential factors of forming traditional villages and focuses on the potential impact of environmental factors and religious culture on the location of villages,spatial form and the layout of courtyards.Finally,on account of the on-the-spot investigation for Aletun Village,a representative traditional village in Hami,this paper carries out multifaceted and multilevel interpretation in terms of village patterns,courtyard spaces,individual building,structure technology,historical and cultural background,characteristics of space form,environmental suitability and requirements of technical update.On this basis,a strategy based on the continuation and renewal of traditional village culture is pertinently put forward,and the design practice is carried out.Through the research on the renewal design of traditional villages' spatial form in Hami and the typical Aletun Village,this paper analyzes and explores the humanistic value and regional characteristics contained in traditional villages,and provides reference for the renovation and transformation of other ethnic groups in Xinjiang.
