Research On Architectural Decoration Art And Cultural Of Traditional Dwellings In Southern Hunan

The Southern Region of Hunan Province locates at the junction of Hunan province,Guangdong province,Jiangxi province and Guilin province and possesses unique natural conditions and diversified blended cultural deposits.Affected by historical human factor and natural environmental factors,the traditional dwellings of the Southern Region of Hunan Province are in various forms and unique structure.The abundant decorative modeling and deep connotation of these dwellings could reflect local social conditions,folk culture and aesthetic orientation as well as embody distinct local culture.With the development of globalization,China's urban construction gradually breaks away from traditional culture connotation,modern construction and environmental art design lack regional characteristics,and regional culture is submerged in global cultural convergence.With the purpose of protecting historical context,inheriting and carrying forward Chinese traditional culture and regional architecture culture,this article deeply analyzes the traditional dwellings decoration culture background and artistic characteristics of the Southern Region of Hunan Province,furthermore,it engages the first exploration to the modern deductions of decorative element.This article makes a cross-sectional research to the the decorative parts,craft and techniques and decorative rules of traditional dwelling of the Southern Region of Hunan Province by taking documents collection and field investigation as basic research methods;and it investigates and researches the modern deductive methods of its creation background,cultural characteristics and decorative elements lengthwise.This article is divided into three parts:The first part(introduction and the second chapter)is the topic background research.It elaborates the source,purpose and significance of topic,defines the research scope and object and probes into the culture foundation and cultural characteristics of traditional dwelling decoration of the Southern Region of Hunan Province from aspects such as geographical conditions and historical background etc.The second part(from the third chapter to the fifth chapter)is theoretical research;firstly,it analyzes the main decorative parts of traditional dwelling decoration of the Southern Region of Hunan Province and briefly analyze the decoration of all parts;secondly,it probes into the craft and techniques of its architectural ornament and operation of rural materials,and it possesses practical significance;lastly,it proceeds with decoration rules,analyzes the utility functionality of traditional dwelling decoration of the Southern Region of Hunan Province and elaborates the type of decorative pattern and expression of cultural connotation.The third part(the sixth chapter)is application study.It probes into the modern deductive method of traditional dwellings of the Southern Region of Hunan Province preliminarily,extracts the essence of dwellings decoration from aspects such as materials,artistic conception and decorative patter,and finally it demonstrates the innovative interpretation solutions in modern construction with the purpose of inheriting and carrying forward the culture characteristics of regional traditional residence.The traditional dwelling decoration of the Southern Region of Hunan Province is the outcome of local natural environment,historic culture,social production,economic conditions and folk culture,it is an important carrier of regional culture and possesses high artistic value and historical and cultural value.This article systematically analyzes the architectural decoration art features and cultural connotation and perfects architectural ornament of the traditional dwelling research of the Southern Region of Hunan Province to promote the protection,inheritance,operation and development of traditional architectural culture aiming at weak links of traditional dwelling research of the Southern Region of Hunan Province.
