| There are various reasons that affect wheelchair users’ daily travel inconvenience.The quality of barrier-free environments has a very important impact on the physical and mental health of wheelchair users.This paper takes the Beijing transportation hub as the research subject,takes the wheelchair user as the research object,and conducts in-depth research and analysis on the barrier-free environment for wheelchair users to travel.In this paper,field research method,behavioral experiment method and other methods will be used to conduct detailed investigations and studies on the problems of wheelchair users’ barrier-free environment.And the problems in the barrier-free environment of urban transport hubs will be summarized.Finally,this paper will make in-depth analysis of the causes of these problems,and put forward specific recommendations.According to the structure,this paper consists of three parts,including six chapters.The first part is the introduction of this article.This chapter mainly introduces the research background,purpose,significance,method,and object of wheelchair users’ barrier free environmen,as well as the domestic and foreign research status and related technical routes.The second part of the paper contains chapters 2,chapter 3 and chapter 4.In the second chapter,the paper categorizes and summarizes the urban transportation hubs that are related to wheelchair users’ daily travel,then selects the most important transportation modes for wheelchair users to travel remotely and short-distancely.Trains and subways are the main research objects and are selected as representative.The Beijing West Railway Station,the Beijing Subway Line 1 interchange station,and the Xizhimen subway transit hub serve as concrete research cases.The third chapter and the fourth chapter respectively discuss the current situation of barrier-free environment in the transportation hub of Beijing West Railway Station,the interchange hub of Subway Line 1 and the Xizhimen subway transit hub,and use the behavioral experiment method to simulate the actual travel status of wheelchair users and strive to have more real feelings and needs.The third part of the paper contains chapters 6 and chapter 7.Between them,the sixth chapter summarizes the problems existing in the barrier-free environment of wheelchair users according to the previous status survey,and analyzes the causes of these problems based on the current status issues,and proposes rationalization suggestions.The seventh chapter is the conclusion and prospect of this paper.This paper studies the barrier-free environment of the two major modes of travel of the railway station transportation hub and the subway interchange station transportation hub,starts from the real experience of wheelchair users,analyzes the root cause of the barrier-free environment,and provides reference for the further improvement of China’s barrier-free environment. |
